Undermine | April Fool's Project
For the First of April 2021 I allowed myself to make a little joke: the announcement of a new expansion for World of Warcraft.
I only planned to make the Key Artwork and the Logo, but as time went on I found time to do more. I expanded this project to feature a slideshow akin to a Blizzcon presentation to give it a more authentic feel. I went as far as modeling and texturing a custom armor set for the "new" class.
The whole project is a homage to Blizzard's announcement of the Tinker Hero in Warcraft 3, which was announced as an april fools joke as well. At the same time I wanted to give the community material to discuss possible direction for the future of World of Warcraft, while also bringing a little surprise to Blizzard's developers as well.
